SMTP Protocol: Converting Emails into SMS

Here’s how it works:

1) Sending via SMTP

When an email is sent to a dedicated address configured by smsmode, the message is received by the smsmode server.

2) Automatic conversion

smsmode automatically converts the incoming email into an SMS message.
The email body becomes the SMS content, and key elements are extracted to ensure good readability on mobile devices.

3) SMS delivery

Once converted, smsmode sends the message to the recipient as an SMS using the appropriate messaging routes.
This ensures fast and reliable delivery, even for users who don’t have direct access to their email.

4) Flexibility and customization

smsmode allows you to configure specific options for each conversion, including:

• SMS length management (splitting long messages when needed)

• Sender customization (alphanumeric sender ID or dedicated number depending on the destination)

• Priority settings for urgent notifications
